ADU Gold doesn’t just settle for “good enough.” We let you know what your options are for challenging the rules and maintain our pricing even if challenges are unsuccessful. We aim to expand the interpretation of the ADU rules to promote features like more units, better design, higher height limits, greater square footages, and easier parking requirements. For instance, in Los Angeles we paved the way by receiving the permits to create the first ADU with a rooftop deck, changing the original rules for the types of buildings that allowed rooftop decks.

Strategic Design.

Our designs are targeted to the needs of anticipated clientele. For instance, the ADUs we build that lack on-site parking spaces feature bike storage lockers. The ADUs we build as student housing feature the maximum number of bedrooms. And the small ADUs we build have ample outdoor space to expand the living area. Whatever the situation, we will thoughtfully design the ADU to achieve the highest rental value.

Return vs Cashflow.

A smaller unit with lower construction costs will yield a higher return, but it will provide a lower monthly cashflow. And the ADU you add will vary if you intend to rent or sell the property.
